Fine silver wire is meticulously braided and twined into a tight spiral pattern, and then sheathed over heavy gauge sterling silver wire to give strength and structure to the design. They are then curved into a 3/4 hoop with a post earring back. The silver has been oxidized and then given a brushed finish to highlight the pattern.
Entirely handmade from fine (.999) and sterling (.975) silver, the hoops measure 1" in diameter, and the woven spiral is 4mm in diameter. The post stem is 9mm long with 6mm bullet-shaped clasps that are large enough to grip easily. These one of a kind earrings are ready to ship!
