This unique necklace features a large, sculptural woven silver bead. Silver wire is woven and twined into a lacy pattern and finished on each end with tapered and textured silver caps. The bead slides along a forged and shaped silver torque.
The torque necklace is an ancient jewelry form, worn close to the throat. The hardened silver ends are gently pulled apart to slip onto the neck and easily returns to its original shape.
