Ice blue Aquamarine and blackened silver feel like the dark of Winter. This petite earring is a shorter version of my Column design for those who prefer less length, but still want to make a statement.
Pure silver wire is woven into spiraling patterns, creating lightweight column beads for unique earrings that catch the eye. Pale blue Aquamarines have beautiful flash and sparkle above the black woven beads. I oxidized the silver to give that stark contrast with the gemstones and with the patterns woven in the beads.
Hand made from fine silver wire (.999 purity) and sterling silver (.925)

The process for weaving these column earrings is both meticulous and meditative, and also deeply satisfying! No two pairs are exactly alike, and adding beautiful gemstones to the mix only enhances the feeling that I've created something special.
