The sagenite is a Mexican agate filled with dense needle-like inclusions that appear as wisps of red and gold sweeping through the stone. The rutilated quartz is also characterized by its needle-like inclusions. This transparent stone is perfectly clear, with only a few red rutiles within the stone. The quartz is set on an oxidized backplate to contrast with the striking inclusions.
