A pair of Maligano jaspers in dramatic shades of white, black, and gray require a setting equally dramatic. Fine silver oxidized a deep black frames the stones, while sterling silver prongs hold them in place. Asymmetrically placed 14k gold prongs shaped into long talons add rich color to the setting, and contrast beautifully with the blackened silver. Round rose-cut garnets a deep shade of red are set on the ear wires above the dangling jaspers.
