Lace Spiral Earrings with Tanzanite

Pure silver wire is woven into intricate spiraling patterns, creating lightweight column beads for unique earrings that catch the eye. Flashing blue and purple rosecut Tanzanites are set in bright silver and dangle below lacy woven silver elements. Tanzanite has beautiful flash and sparkle, the stones range in color from periwinkle blue to purple, depending on the light. The brushed silver enhances the color play in these lovely gemstones.

The process for weaving these column earrings is both meticulous and meditative, and also deeply satisfying! No two pairs are exactly alike, and adding beautiful gemstones to them only enhances the feeling that I've created something special.
