Subtle colors and a burst outside the lines define these unique fossilized coral earrings. The long triangular shape of the corals inspired me to step away from the typical earring design, adding larger accent stones and extending the bloom of flowers from the edge of the fossils into the negative space outside the frames. A wash of brown tones suffuse these fossil corals, with a subtle wash of blue and starbursts of white defining the floral patterns. The corals are arranged to hang off kilter, with an oval iolite, a large silver flower, and a round smoky quartz all harmonizing in color while emboldening the design.
I've set the stones in a minimal oxidized silver frame with prongs to showcase the stone and keep the earrings light. The backs are completely open so you can see how beautiful the stones are from every angle!
