Column Earrings with Lavender Chalcedony

Blackened silver with pale, lavender blue chalcedony create the best kind of drama.

Pure silver wire is woven into spiraling patterns, creating lightweight column beads for unique earrings that catch the eye. Lavender chalcedony  are held in silver talon prongs. The blackened silver is lightly polished on the highlights, showing the beautiful pattern in more detail. The beads on these earrings are intentionally mismatched for a more interesting pairing.

The process for weaving these column earrings is both meticulous and meditative, and also deeply satisfying! No two pairs are exactly alike, and adding beautiful gemstones to the mix only enhances the feeling that I've created something special.
