I took a hard left turn this summer and departed from my usual path of silver-smithing and setting stones, and tried something new. Here is the result! Delicate beaded necklaces with freshwater pearls and natural stones strung on hand-knotted silk cord.

New additions to the Eye Candy collection-deliciously colorful gemstone jewelry

It was too long in coming, but I’ve finally added pendants to my colorful Eye Candy Collection! Lovely, petite tourmaline in bright, glowing colors are set in silver and hang from fine sterling silver chains. There are two double pendants in complementary colors, while the rest are single drops of cheerful color. Tourmaline is an amazing stone because it comes in just about every hue imaginable. It has one of the widest ranges of color of any gemstone. It was the perfect stone for this collection! These rose-cut cabochons come in brilliant shades with facets that draw in the light...

Why did it take so long?
Back in February I put together my Eye Candy Collection-a small batch of colorful tourmaline earrings and rings made to wear anytime, anywhere. And while the ears and hands always need some kind of decoration, I neglected a body part. Now, 3 months later, I have made it right. Necklaces are now available!

Two classic styles with my silver Echeveria Pendants and Carnelian

If you know me you know I love Carnelian; the earthy cinnamon hued stone has my favorite shade of red. But somehow, I don’t have a lot of it in my jewelry. I had to remedy that and these two new pendants feature two very different, but equally gorgeous, teardrop carnelians in styles that wear differently as well.
