Out the Door Styles for Summer
Share
Summer break is here and either you're living in the same moment as me, or I'm going to trigger some... let's call it nostalgia.
I have fond memories of being a kid and looking forward to endless summer days. As a parent I'm also seeing endless days... and not looking forward to it.
Every year I think: "Oh I'll just have some arts and crafts time a couple days a week and we'll be good." And then re-learn that they will blow through a project in 5 minutes and want to move on to something else (there is nothing else). I just blew my wad at Michael's for a tchotchke that will just clutter up my already cluttered house and will most definitely go in the garbage by the time summer is over.
I might be feeling stressed about adequately stimulating my children's minds over the summer, but I know that this too shall pass. I'd rather focus on the trips we have planned and what I'm going to pack.
Here are some suggestions for easy summer out-the-door travel styles.

Neutrals are perfect for summer. This Taupe beach stone ring has beautiful texture.
