Wind Pendant with Larsonite and Green Amethyst-SS/14k

A beautiful shield-shaped Larsonite jasper is the focal point of this elegant necklace. Deep teal to sage green and pale olive sweep across the face of this unique stone. Set in fine silver, the jasper rests on a base that mirrors the shape of the stone, with stylized shapes representative of swirling wind that rise up above the stone and continue down in negative relief on the back. The cut-out shapes allow you to see the beautiful colors in the underside of the stone. A small faceted pale green amethyst dangles below the pendant, set in 14k yellow gold for a touch of sparkle. Connecting the pendant to the chain on one side is an elegantly curved wire detail, with small gold accents to add contrast to the silver.

The chain measures approximately 17" and adjusts to 20" in length. The pendant is 2 1/4" long, including the green amethyst drop. The Larsonite jasper, also known as Gary Green jasper, measures 33x20mm and the round faceted green amethyst is 4mm.
